Whether your agency is using digital
imaging technology to capture basic crime scene photos, or for video and
fingerprint enhancement, or questioned document examination, intensive
training is essential to get the most from your hardware and software.
On-site training takes place at your agency, on your equipment, based on
your protocols and workflow. This means that you don't interpret general
information from a class to apply it to your agency. Every minute of the
training is based on the needs and goals of your agency and personnel.
Your agency has invested thousands and thousands of dollars in digital
imaging technology. It is a waste of this resource if you are not utilizing
it to its fullest benefit.
Custom, on-site training is the best method to get the most from your
digital imaging hardware and software. Our on-site training takes place at
your agency. This means that all training is done with your equipment, using
your hardware and software, working through your workflow, to meet your
needs and goals.
The training is customized to meet your needs. We can train your personnel
in the use of your hardware and software in digital photography, downloading
files, digital darkroom techniques, image enhancement, Photoshop Actions,
creating a digital workflow, archiving images, preparing court displays,
courtroom testimony, developing protocols, creating crime scene panoramas,
etc.

Our training and scheduling is flexible. We spend as much time as needed to
be certain that each concept and application is thoroughly understood by
every member of your staff. No segment of training is rushed, no section is
skipped, none of your custom curriculum is left out. Our day starts when
yours does, and ends when that day's training is complete -- whether that
means eight or ten or twelve hours. Our schedules allow for flexibility, so
that we can be certain that your needs are met. When we are at your agency,
meeting your training needs is our only concern.
We also include a custom users manual with all of our on-site training. The
users manual provides a step-by-step guide to the primary functions utilized
in the digital imaging system. This isn't a software manual that must be
interpreted to your application, but is a guide, custom created for your
agency to repeatedly perform the daily digital imaging tasks of your agency.
Training can also include the development of agency protocols. If your
agency has embraced digital imaging technology, but hasn't yet written
protocols, we can work with you to develop protocols that will help your
agency to guarantee your images will meet all court requirements for
evidence. We know what the Federal Rules of Evidence are regarding digital
imaging. We know the requirements for keeping the proper chain-of-custody.
We know the case law regarding digital imaging technology. And, with this
knowledge, we can help your agency develop the protocols to maintain the
integrity of your digital photographs.
Training may take from one to five days, depending on your requirements. We
can train your personnel on their schedule -- providing training during day
shift, swing shift, or both. When Imaging Forensics is at your agency, your
schedule is our schedule. We are there to meet your needs, day or night.
There is no need to send anyone to a school that is out-of-town, reschedule
days-off, or interpret information from a general Photoshop or Imaging
class. There is no need to spend your training budget on airfare and
hotels. We come to you, customize the training, and utilize your equipment.
This training is the best that is available in our field. If you want to get
the most from your digital imaging investment, then you must invest in
quality training!
